2 Days 1 Night Jungle Trek with Homestay

If you have time we recommend this tour because it combines a rigorous jungle trek and cultural experience on day 1, and a full day of activities on Day 2. Spend a night at a home stay and experience village life firsthand. Your tour guide as a source of information on cultures, customs, and traditions of the local people. During the homestay you will have a chance to interact with local people and children.Day 1 of our two day tour begins at 8:30 with a tuk tuk ride to a nearby village. From there we hike for about 2 hours to the Khmu and Hmong village of NaLuang. There we break for lunch. You will have a chance to tour the small village. After lunch we trek into the deep jungle for 3.5 hours to a riverside village of Huoy Hoi where we will spend the night. Dinner and breakfast will be served by a host family.

Day 2 is more activities and less trekking. We visit Mung Ngoi Viewpoint, Tad Mok waterfall, Yesabai organic farm and finish off with Kayaking down the Nam Ou River towards Nong Khiaw. It has the same itinerary as our 1 day adventure tour. Expect around 3 hours of easy walking.
